There are hysteroscopic proceedures described, but I don't know of anyone actually doing them that way. Tubal ligation does not leave you more prone to ectopic, it actually reduces the incidence of ectopic manyfold. However, in those very, very few pregnancies that do occur after tubal ligation, about 50% of them will be ectopic, which is a higher percentage of the overall number of pregnancies than the 1-3% of non-sterilized women.
