Daniel Braun, MD: "Re: Breast Cyst" In June a lump was felt in my breast by my ob/gyn. I did have a hard time then feeling it myself until she pointed it out to me. Was sent for a sono and report said cyst. Went to surgeon to be sure and he confirmed it was a cyst and said something to the effect that it was not aspiratable, what ever that means. Well over the past couple of months it seems to have gotten larger and more noticable. My question I guess is do cysts grow or should I be worried? I do have a family history of breast and ovarian cancer. My mom had both and her mom died of ovarian cancer. Any help greatly appreciated.
