As one of the lowest dose pills, Alesse should cause less acne than most other pills. This may still be related but can also be coincidental.

There is no evidence that Yasmin is any better for acne prevention than Alesse.

Yasmin has more estrogen than Alesse but a different progesterone that can reduce water retention. In some, it may be better for the skin but this is not for all women.
