Amy and others, The first thing that popped into my head when I read this post was fibromyglasia. I have felt the same way for a while now. I have a lot of medical problems though. Anyway, when I talked to my neurologist about this (he had previously ran a lot of tests on me) he poked me in alot of painful places and told me that I had fibromyglasia. I no longer see him and I'm switching to new doctors all around so I haven't had much experience with dr/patient side of this, but from what I have read those are the symptoms and they run tests to rule out other possibilities. Also they "poke" you in different spots. There are certain areas that are used to diagnose fibromyglasia. If 8 or more of these spots cause pain when pressure is applied it can be fibromyglasia.
