Re: continuous BCP-pelvic pain still there SALLYFrom: AJ (anonymous@obgyn.net)Wed, 22 Aug 2001 22:44:46 -0500 (CDT)
Hello Sally. I'm 22 and I also have endo. I saw your post and had to respond. You may need to wait a little longer for the pills to take effect or you may need to get the dosage increased. I'm not sure if you know, but there are also other treatments out there. I have been on OrthTrycyclen for about a year, DepoProvera shot once a month for 10-11 months and I just started Lupron. All women are different and if the pills don't work for you, you may want to try something else. Anytime you think of taking a new treatment, research it first. It is always better to know what you are getting into ahead of time. :) Also I'm not sure if you know, but they also have a forum here for women with endo. The women there are very supportive and can answer most questions that you have. Feel free to write me personally at any time if you need any more info or just want to talk. Take Care and God Bless, AJ At Wed, 22 Aug 2001, sally wrote: > >Hello doctors, I was diagnosed with Stage II endo (underside of uterus I >believe which was lasered off), and two endometrium cysts were removed >during a May laproscopy.
