I would suggest you wait a while. While you're waiting, you should take care of yourself as if you were pregnant. Since you're actively trying to get pregnant, you are probably taking good care of yourself. Continue to avoid alcohol, eat nutritious food and avoid empty calories like soda and candy, take a prenatal vitamin with folic acid, avoid cigarettes, and avoid any new medication or drug unless you've discussed its safety with your prenatal care provider or the person who prescribed the medication. If you are currently taking medication, call the prescriber or your prenatal care provider today to find out if it's safe to continue; many medications should be continued during pregnancy.
