I dont know about >you, but it would be nice to communicate with someone with the same >situation. >~Robin Abnormal pap smears are on the rise, and have been for years, but deaths from cervical cancers are extremely rare these days. 50 years ago, when the pap smear was invented, it was the number one cancer killer of women, and the pap has almost eradicated it. The ThinPrep pap is just a pap with a better specimen, and it actually reduces the number of ASCUS and inadequate pap smears. I am sorry that you got one, but it is better than having a problem that you are not aware of.
