18 week ultrasound resultsFrom: Rebecca (anonymous@obgyn.net)Tue, 21 Aug 2001 12:56:28 -0400
I just had my 18 week ultrasound and am quite confused by the results. The doctor said everything is fine, yet I see that some of the measurements are outside of the norm. For example, BPD is 45.2 mm. What exactly is BPD? HC is 15.7 mm which is -.83 standard deviations from the norm. What does this mean? Is the baby's head quite small. I'm not certain as the BPD is above average and the HC is below average. Could you explain what this means. Incidentally, femur length is 26.6 mm. Any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks Rebecca
