Endometrial Biopsy" My gyn. has suggested and endometrial biopsy to check possible abnormal bleeding. I am 52 years old and haven't had a period for 5 months and now I have staining for 5 to 6 days. Can a endovaginal sonogram be used instead? Can what I have be just regular old approaching menopause as opposed to abnormal bleeding? Many thanks for any thoughts on this situation.
