The last time I visited my gyn. in May he took a Pap smear and this caused some bleeding. He said I had vaginal thinning but also added there was nothing to be done about it. So my question is could this postcoiatal bleeding be related to the thinning and if so, can you suggest any way I can change that situation. I find the more active I am and the hotter it gets the more likely the staining is to last longer and get heavier. By the way, I did have two sonograms over the last couple of years to check the thickness of my endometrium (I was having very heavy periods with large clots)and nothing untoward showed up. Many thanks for your help with this.
