I have endometriosis and when I made the appointment with the urologist, I was told he would probably do a pelvic exam along with other tests. My question is this: Do I have to let him do a pelvic exam? Will he find anything my gynecologist wouldn't be able to find? Due to past experiences, I am afraid of having a pelvic exam done my anyone other than my regular gynecologist; even though he recommended this urologist, I'm afraid to go through with the appointment.
