Hi Laura,
You sound exactly like me! i was worried about the same thing you were and
was convinced that I would have to take my doctor into the bathrrom with me
for her to see. :) My doctor put an instrument on my cervix and tugged a
little. She was able to determine that I had a stage 2 prolapse. This did
not hurt at all.
It does sound like you have a prolapse. I ahve the 2 bulges as well and can
see my cervix. You will probably be offered a pessary but I found that
they are just too uncomfortable for me to wear. Try many different ones
though and see if one works right for you. Now I just use my diaphragm
daily and that helps with my incontinance and takes the pressure off of my
vagina.
E-mail me if you have any more questions.
