Post menopausal bleeding needs a thorough workup including the sonogram
you had, a sonohysterogram to look for any abnormalities of the lining
of the uterus, maybe an endometrial biopsy to detect microscopic
abnormalities of the lining of the uterus and a further evaluation of
the sonogram you had - either it's an ovary or it's bowel.
Sounds like a second opinion is in order.
Hope this helps and write back anytime for more information.
