Hello! I'm a 43, healthy and take no meds. Had a bilateral tubal ligation last Oct. For the past 5 out of 7 mos. have had increasing pain in specific area -lower left pelvic region. (twice the pain didn't precede my period). The pain is so unbearable it is even hard to walk and is not relieved very well with OTC pain relief. This past month-it woke me in the middle of the night. Lasts for a day and disappears completely as soon as I start bleeding. Menstrual flow is very heavy (change a super tampon every 2 hours the first 2 days). By day 4 it stops. I'm baffled because I have no other symptons that point me in a difinative direction on either fibroids, endo, etc. No other PMS-non smoker-2 kids-moderate exercise-not overweight. Not sure how urgent-immediate appt w/doctor and should doctor exam me close to time of period. Thank you
