Denise, I'm 22 and I also have endo. The hard thing is that you never know with endo. I know that's not what you want to hear, but it seems to be true. I have had endo since I was 12, and I'm still not used to it. I do have a 5 year old son, and yes I had endo while I was pregnant with him. If you are wondering how you will feel while you are pregnant and afterwards, it varies from woman to woman. My pregnancy took away my endo pain and it didnt return until 2 years later. I have never heard of endo harming a fetus with all the research I have done, it may be possible, but I have found nothing on it. As far as passing endo on to our children, we never know. I have read reports that say that endo is genetic and reports that say that it is not. Personally, 2 of my aunts had endo, one on my mom's side and one on my dads, but as one report said (which I truly believe) endo is so prevalent it can affect any woman. there have been women whos mothers and sisters have had endo and there are women whom have no family members w endo. The question on carrying a baby to full term is one that I worry about myself. I have had 3 miscarriages and the thought of having another scares me to death, but I know that no matter what God will help me through it all. He will not give us any more than we can handle, it may not seem that way, but I believe it's true. Never lose hope. No matter what happens there is always hope. What kind of treatments have you had for the endo? Have you had excision, ovulation suppression? There are many options out there. I hope that I have helped you in some way. Take Care and God Bless, Amanda
