Kelly Shanahan, MD, : "Re: 4 abnormal paps - wait and see" I have had 4 colposcopies with 2 biopsies each time (11o'clock and 2o'clock)done at a military hospital when I was overseas and my doctor says to have another colposcopy in 6 months. Basically I was told that they are waiting to see if "it goes away or turns to cancer". This is driving me crazy! I have endometriosis (had surgery in 96), had cryosurgery for cervical dysplasia in 1995, cysts, you name it. They did say they are ruling out dysplasia. How can test results be that inconclusive?
