Can you assist? The Doctor has just prescribed Ortho-est without really going into my medical history and on one of the pages I read this drug has many side effects. Starting at the age of 27 till now at the age of fifty I have had gall bladder, deuidenal (sorry spelling, its late at night) ulcer and hiatus hernia repaired (one Operation) Hysterectomy two years later. Then a colonectomy (large colon removed) Then.... out came the ovaries (thought there was a cancerous tumour but decided it wasn't then.... last year phylo plastic repair work to the kidney.... and now the doctor wants to give me orthi-est. Not my regular doctor as I moved towns.... do you think I should take hormone replacement under the circumstances and if so it sounds as if this drug could cause more damage to what I have left then anything .......Can't afford to loosse any more organs!!!!
