I'll bet that most doctors would. There are no laws or "regulations" regarding this type of medical care. However, the doctor may have require patients to undergo screening exams when taking certain medications like birth control pills or estrogen patches, but it would be because he or she wishes to prevent cervical cancer (Pap smears), colon cancer (rectal exams) or vulvar cancer (external vulvar exams) or to diagnose breast cancer or ovarian cancer. It would have nothing to do with the estrogen patch per se. Best wishes,
