Marchbein, M.D.: "Re: Menopause and irregular periods" I have been having irregular periods for about 1 and a half years now (I'm 50 yrs. old) and just recently skipped 3 months then had another period. I also have fibroids which the Doctor said would be shrinking when I completely go through Menopause. Is a woman considered completely done when there isn't a period for 12 months?
