I went to my GYN yesterday and had a colposcopy with biopsies done due to dysplasia. My Dr. took 3 biopsis and did a DCC. Ever since I left the office yesterday I have had alot of cramping, really bad, is this normal? If so, how long will I have it? Is it normal to take 3 biopsies? Or do you think that my Dr. may have seen something to have taken so many? I am just worried about it, I go on Aug. 6 to have a Lap and LEEP done. Also I am not sure what a DCC is. Before my Dr. did the colposcopy he said that he would have the results back in 3-4 weeks, but when he was done taking the biopsies, he said he wanted them back in 2 weeks. I am really nervous about that. If anyone can lend some encouraging words, I would greatly appreciate it. I am a nervous wreck. Thanks in advance for any replies.
