Angel, Dispermy (two sperm, one egg) is one of the theories for triploidy (three of every chromosome, rather than two). This abnormality is associated with a high pregnancy loss rate and is essentially incompatible with life. Monozygotic twins typically result from division of a already fertilized egg dividing, resulting in two embryos with identical genetic information... Lynn
