Fox-Fordyce Disease?

I'm 19. My first trip to the obgyn was for treating a yeast infection that never ended. We later discovered through trying different treatments and several upon several obgyn appointments that yeast was not our problem. I have been dealing with consistant aching and burning for over a year now and just recently had a biopsy. The results are suggesting Fox-Fordyce disease, but the report says that this is a "non-specific finding" and that what they have found could be "associated with the Fox Fordyce disease." My physician is suggesting Retinal A, a treatment used for acne and then, if that does not work, he would like for me to have surgery. I would like to know more about your findings on this disease and how I can find more information to find out if this is really my problem. I would like to feel normal for a change! thank you!
