I have von Willebrands as well, although it's a very mild case and I've never had many problems with it. I recently had a child and discussed that with my OB; he told me that if my levels were abnormal that there is something that you can be given to help with the clotting. I'm sure one of the doctors on this board will be MUCH more specific than I just was; I just wanted to let you know that you're not alone and that modern medicine is AWESOME and can allow many things to happen :)
