I go July 12 for colposcopy and biopsy. I have read the same thing that it is generally caused by the HPV, however I have been tested for all the STD's and they are all negative. I have no idea what is causing this for me. It is frustrating, to say the least. I know my husband doesn't have anything of the sort, so there has got to be another cause. I have done some research and I know that smoking can be a factor, I don't know how big a factor, but it can play a part. I don't smoke, my hubby does, don't know if that matters or not. I would love to hear more about what you are going through, and try to understand some of this myself. If you would like to e-mail me privately, that would be fine. my e-mail is martys_girl89@yahoo.com Thanks and I hope you resolve some of your questions. Hugs to ya :)
