I was told not to even try to conceive the cycle I had my HSG. You don't HAVE to do an hsg do an ivf or a transfer. Its best to rule out uterine troubles, but if your already on medication for the upcoming cycle I would proceed with the ivf. Have you had a lap or ultrasound? Perhaps they would be willing to do a vaginal ultrasound to look for polyps or fibroids and to check your uterus. Much less invasive. I don't know what a mammogram has to do with treatment. Amy
