I have extensive bruising along the left pelvis down to the vulva; that side of the vulva is also swollen. My gyn says the trocar must have nicked a blood vessel, causing is to bleed down and into the vulva, but everything will heal OK. My gyn is rather young. I trusted her before, but this bruising and swelling is frighteningly ugly (and uncomfortable). Is she correct, that I shouldn't be concerned?
