Does a perineoplasty also consist of removing the hymen?

Good afternoon,

I was trying to get some information about perineoplasty b/c of this message that came off of a list that I belong to for vulvodynia: "I'm having a perineoplasty. My doc is removing the hymen and the irritated minor glands, not the Bartholin's glands."

What I'm wanting to know is if a perineoplasty also consists of removing the hymen and the Bartholin's Glands? If not what is this girl talking about?

When I checked the medical dictionary I have here as well as the archives of the list it lists perineoplasty as a surgical repair of the hymen.

Thanks.
