Hi Kerry,
Have you ever been checked to see if you have endometriosis? I have a
swollen lymph node (mine is about the size of a large egg)on the lower
left side (around the colon). This lymph node gets very tender and
painful around a cycle (I have had a complete hyst and both ovaries
removed, but I have ovarian remnant syndrome so I still have cycles).
The pain I get sometimes takes my breath away. It hurts to bump into
anything or twist or turn the wrong way. It can get irritated during an
exam. It it can have that crampy achy feeling you are describing at
other times.
You might want to check with your doctor on the possibility of endo. It
can only be diagnosed by direct observation via a laparoscopy or
laparotomy.
Best wishes,
