I suffer from severe headaches all the time. With my first pregnancy I took darvocet and had to regularly. Everything came out fine and baby was healthy. I was very worried. Now I am on hydrocodone/acetaminophen and I am worried. I am pregnant but my headaches can get so severe. I have tried things like imitrex and naproxen. They just do not help. If I take the pain med as soon as I feel the headaches I am fine. However, will my baby get a defect from this? I always here about ABSOLUTELY no meds when pregnant. I have no choice but to take them througout the pregnancy. But still am very worried. I am a little more comfortable because of my experience with the darvocet. Will my baby have noticeable and painful withdrawal? I really need to be reassured and if you say to stop taking the hydro for babys sake I WILL!! thanks cindy
