transvaginal ultrasoundFrom: Kim (anonymous@obgyn.net)Thu, 28 Jun 2001 14:35:28 -0500 (CDT)
Hello, I just went in today for a vaginal ultrasound because of rt sided pelvic pain. I have endometriosis and PCOS and have also had ovarian cysts removed before. This ultrasound was the most painful I have ever had. The tech said everything looked normal, so I'm wondering what would cause that much pain. Would the endo caused increased pain during the ultrasound? The pain was mostly deep in the pelvis and the right side. She had a hard time finding the right ovary and had me pushing on the right side of my abdomen which also caused increased pain. Any thoughts?
