Hi, I just registered and thought I posted there....geeeez...I am 27 yr old suffering from painful intercourse, I have had 2 previous births and had no complications afterwards. I am a nursing mom, gave birth on 03/05/01 vaginally with no repairs. It was a streanuos fast birth going from 7cm to full delivery in 4 minutes. My husband and I have tried everything but it is not working, extra lubricant, streatching prior to entering etc. The main pain is first penentration and withdrawl of the penis. I usually "numb" up in between then the pain usually last one to two days after wards and I notice it most using the bathroom, not that it hurts to use the bathroom, but just cleansing the area is tender. Mostly centered around the perineum area. I was given a clean bill of health at my 6 week visit and am afraid to contact my doc that there is really no cureable solution and that this is just going to be "the way it is" after the birth of my last child...please help Thank you Amy
