Methotrexate - What if pg is still surving? Should I let it continue?

2 out of 3 IVF cycles positive. 1st IVF ended in miscarriage probaby had to do with mono aminotic twins. 2nd IVF after retrieval: Day 12 Hcg 58, Day 14 Hcg 58, Day 15 HCG 38. Dr. says pg is over, however to come back in a week because HCG level did not drop enough. Week later HCG 78, two days later in the 80's, two days later hcg 100ish. Dr. says might be tubal, however we saw black dot on US in the uterus. Dr. says abnormal pg and something must be done. Either a laporasopy & DC to make sure it is not a tubal situation and/or to remove abnormal pg from uterus. I opted for the methotrexate because the thought of another surgery was unbearable. I really wanted to see how this pg would end up since this little guy/gal was trying so hard to survive. The tubal pg info I was being given didn't really give me any options. I have a feeling my hcg is still rising. If yes, I am really reluctant to do another shot. I just want this pg do what it wants to do on its own. Are you aware of any situations like this? Or with pg that have gone on to survive when everything says it should not have survived. What should I do if hcg has gone up, and if we can verify that this in not tubal. Is there a open minded specialists out there?
