I am not a doctor, but when I was pregnant I had a UTI with from a bacteria for which the only oral antibiotic treatment was Cipro. Instead of giving me Cipro, they hospitalized me and gave me IV antibiotics. My Perionatologist said Cipro was NOT SAFE in pregnancy. Did your OB give you the medicine?
