+1 Year TTC, how what?

So it's been a little over a year since we've been TTC...the doc says since I seem to check out fine on the usual stuff and have very normal 28 dayish cycles that before any more invasive testing is done my husband has to be "checked out". Trouble is, I don't know where to send him - he's never, ever sick, and he doesn't have a family physician. Do I just send him to a general practioner? Or do we need a specialist of some sort? DH has never had any injuries, diseases (no mumps, no STDs), never fathered any children (never tried), and is the epitome of good health. I had to go to a general practioner for my last check up as my normal Ob/Gyn is no longer in town (and all the others I wasn't comfortable with) and the GP I went too wasn't too helpful and didn't offer any recommendations or referrals. Since I was far from impressed with the GP that I went to (even though I'd been to him before and happy with him) I don't really want to send DH to him.

Also - what will DH's first appointment likely (or should) involve?
