I want to be able to accept this, but my husband thinks this is outrageous because of the stress involved having another D&C performed as well as the extra expense. When I saw my doctor earlier this week she made no mention of being at fault. She just explained that when performing a D&C there is a fine line between getting everything that needs to come out.....and taking too much that it scars the uterus. I asked my doctor how common this was and she said that it's rare and may happen once in every 4 years. I know my doctor is very qualified and I feel bad for wanting to question her further. I lean towards thinking this is just one of those things that happen. But don't want to be overly passive either.
