Miscarriage-endless problems followingFrom: Susie (anonymous@obgyn.net)Mon, 18 Jun 2001 16:33:29 -0500 (CDT)
I m/c back in 11/00. I was given cytotec and bled for about four weeks and then started my period for another two weeks. An u/s about 1 week after the cytotec said my uterus was empty. My next period came two weeks later. It continued for about four more weeks, with the discharge turning clear/reddish. My doctor determined I had a vaginal infection b/c of high white blood cells in my fluid and prescribed a heavy duty antibiotic that made me feel very sick, diarrhea, etc... My period continued for two more weeks and my dr. sent me for an u/s. I now had a yeast infection on my skin and vaginally from wearing so many pads for so long. An u/s revealed a small pea-sized polyp or cyst in my cervix. An ob/gyn did a biopsy, for I had had two abnormal paps since my pregnancy began, but never before then. It was negative, but I have been experiencing increasing pain in my cervix. I am going for another u/s today. Any thoughts, advice, ideas? I want to get pregnant again and return to a normal life without pain. -Susie
