2 Questions - Slow Urine Flow and Ovulation

Ihave two totally unrelated questions!

1. Sometimes, especially when I feel a strong urge to urinate, there is only a very slow flow for what seems to be a very long time. Most of the time, the urine flow is very fast, normal. It doesn't cause any pain or anything like that, but I am curious as to what *might* cause something like this 'trickle' to happen every so often - especially when I have to pee really badly! I have never reported this to my gyn - should I? All of my urinalyses have been normal. And, if I should report this, should I do it soon or can I wait for my next gyn visit (early next year)?

2. Occassionally I experience spotting (brown, light pink) around ovulation and have never reported it. As a matter of fact, when I fill out the questionnaire, I have always checked 'NO' for 'spotting between periods' because I thought this was a very normal, common thing. Is this something I should tell my doctor about at my visit next year?

Thank you very much for anything you might be able to share.
