Dermoid ovarian cysts

I was told today I have a cyst on my right ovary that is tennis ball size. It is a solid mass that may be growing on my uterus. My left ovary is normal. I am 23 yrs old with no family hx of cancer. The Dr. said it looks like a dermoid cyst. I was told that I would have to have my ovary removed. I have to have a ct scan and tumor marker tomorrow. My questions are: 1. What is the chance it is cancerous? 2. How will it affect my fertility? 3. What causes dermoid cysts? 4. Is it possible that when they open me up they will find out it is worse than suspected? 5. What is the chance that I will have my left ovary removed in the future? 6. How fast does the dermoid cyst grow?

I am sorry so many questions. I'm just scared and confused. Just found out all this today.

Thank you for your time.
