Marchbein, M.D.: "Re: Irregular Uterine Bleeding" I recently had a baby (14 weeks ago) and breastfed until the 11Th week. I have since then stopped and started taking birth control pills. In the past 5 weeks I have menstruated ( for 7 day cycles) 3 times with 1 week of rest in between each period. I have been under a lot of stress lately and assume that this might be the cause. However I am concerned about the large amount of blood loss and I wonder about anemia. I also wonder if this might be related to any disease. Please help.
