Montgomery, MD: "Re: Provera during pregnancy" I was prescribed provera twice day for 3 consecutive months because I had bleeding between periods and abnormal heavy periods (also was misdiagnosed with endometrial hyperlasia but then found out cells were normal). I just found out I am 7-8 weeks pregnant. I stopped taking provera about 8-9 weeks ago and not sure how long it takes to get out of your system. Worred that the provera will hurt pregnancy.
