atypical pap (2nd question)

First I'd like to thank Dr. Braun for answering my question and the very informative article he referred to me. When my obgyn informed me of my atypical pap she also stated that it showed inflammation due to a fungal infection. Is it possible for a tech to see fungus on a pap? Can I have a fungal infection and have absolutely no symptoms? Thank You.
