It is also frequently a symptom of pregnancy.

As far as I am aware, nobody really knows what is normal for this measurement. It has been studied in postmenopausal women and there we know that if it less than 3 mm thick, the woman does not have endometrial cancer. Everybody measures it when they do an US, but nobody has correlated what all those measurements mean.

Will my uterus lining be able to sustain my >pregnancy?

Most likely.

The brown is the result of very minimal spotting. If it turns red or cramping develops, call your Gynecologist right away.

Normal for early pregnancy.
