I am 35 years old with a history of hpv 15 years ago. In april my gyn informed me that my pap smear results were atypical squamous cells of undetermined significance. She also recommended that I take monistat and return for a follow up pap in three months. Could this have anything to do with the hpv I had 15 years ago? This is my first abnormal pap since I was 18. Thank you.
