Dear doctor, i'm an 18 yr old female in need of help. about 3 weeks ago, i was attacked and my attacker tried to rape me. before attempting to enter me he pushed many objects inside of my body and tortured me for about 2 hours. this was very painful but i only bled a little. before he could actually penetrate me i fought him off and escaped.

i had always had a very irregular period and a friend told me to take birth control to regulate it. the first month that i was on the pill this attack occured. one week after the attack my period came, on time, but it was extremely heavy and the cramps were horrible. i went to my faily doctor who just gave me something for the pain, but he does not know of the above events. i cannot tell him.

i want to know if you think the cramps and heavy bleeding is because of the attack or the pill? by the way i never had bad cramps before and I was a virgin before the attack, I'm still not sure if my hymen broke

please e-mail me... anyone at jaya_lutch@trinimail.net

thanks alot jay
