WBC's in urine

I know that you would have WBC in your vaginal swab if their is a vaginal infection. Would you have WBC's in your urine if you were having a herpes outbreak, had a yeast infection, or BV? I'm a little confused -- I thought if they were found in your urine then you were fighting an infection in the urinary tract. There were no nitrites found in the urine, just WBC. This is a recurring problem that I have, and no one seems to be able to give me an answer. I tested neg. for Chlamydia and gonherrea.
