Not that incredibly unusual. Occasionally the uterus doesn't clamp down as well or as fast as one would like to see. When there is concern, occasionally hemabate is used. I am not sure why you had your cesarean, but this is more common in cases where the labor has been long, when there is a large baby or even multiple gestations... Lynn
