My level was 174 before taking it and dropped to 14 2wks after taking it. I was really impressed.I took the bromocriptine with my son 4yrs ago and that took longer to lower my level because I had to build up the dose I was taking. With the dostinex I take 1/2 pill 2x's a week. Be watchful for side-effects in the months to come. In Feb '01 I noticed some weight loss and had loss of appetite. I actually lost 15lbs in 2months. Bad thing for me becuase I don't weigh a lot to begin with. I went to the Web MD website and found weight loss/gain and loss of appetite were side effects of dostinex. So it took four months to notice. You may want to check out that web site cause it lists more than what's on the sheet from the pharmacy. just type in dostinex and it will tell you all you need to know. If you have any questions send me and e-mail. smitherst@gisco.net Angel
