Kelly Shanahan, MD, : "Re: burning urination" I am going crazy. I have had burning that start before urination, doesn't burn tha tbadly when urinating and sometimes lingers after. I have had two urine cultures that have come back negative. My pcp tested for std's which are not back yet. however, I don't feel this is the problem. I am 27, have only had one sexual partner in my life, my husband, who swears he has not cheated. I have no reason not to believe him. He knows this is effecting my health and peace of mind and would be honest with me at this point. I need to know what the heck is going on. It is not constant. It seems to come for a few days and then go away. It is hard to distinguish between vaginal and otherwise. The burning is behind the pubic bone. Next message: M.
