One year and no period yet!From: Maria (anonymous@obgyn.net)Tue, 22 May 2001 09:01:21 -0500 (CDT)
I'm 23 years old. I've never had regular periods. I've gone to doctors, but they couldn't explain it. So about a year ago (or more) they decided to put me on The Pill. I took it for 3 months. Finally, I was regular but it was very heavy. After the 3 months was over, I stopped taking the pill, and waited to get my period. I figured that my cycle would be a little disrupted. So I waited and waited and waited. I was used to irregular periods. I was just waiting a normal cycle to kick in. But now, I'm terribly afraid it's been too long. And unfortunately I don't have health insurance right now. I am concerned and I should be... What could be wrong and what can I do? Is this semi-normal effects with the Pill?
