I think it was a year or so after. I had gestational diabetes which was controlled by diet. After I gained a great deal of weight to I guess catch up on what I missed all those months. I ballooned to about 215 lbs not too long ago. I lost weight to 189 and joined Weight Watchers. I am now at around 130 lbs. I'm a life-time member and so I wish to maintain this weight. Is weight or obesity the cause of hyperplasia? When I asked my gyno he said no or that there was no particular cause. My gyno did the biopsy and diagnosed the hyperplasia and I hadn't had a repeat biopsy until I found information here. This had to be 3 or 4 years. Was he wrong not to do a biopsy sooner. I demanded it after I got an answer from this health line. I only see my gyno 2 times a year. Should I see him more often as you suggest I should get the emb done in 3 months? Is the fact that I'm thinner good for the hyperplasia? Thanks.
